CH Coakley Moves Hundreds of Thousands of Books at the Milwaukee Public Library

Over 475,000 books were temporarily moved at Milwaukee’s historical public library, 814 W. Wisconsin Ave., when the first floor of the library had its carpets replaced. “This project took 12 days to complete,” said Dawn Ovokaitys, sales manager at CH Coakley. “We loaded all the books on carts, wrapped them and wheeled them out of the way, then replaced them when the carpets were complete. It was labor intensive, but the library looks great and the job was a success.”
