CH Coakley Signs Three-Year Lease with State of Wisconsin, Department of Administration
Menomonee Falls office space and warehousing strategy proves to be early success with tenant capacity reached within six months
MILWAUKEE, (August 19, 2016) – CH Coakley, a premier business solutions provider of third party logistics (3PL), commercial moving, warehousing solutions, fulfillment and document management, has agreed to a three-year lease with the State of Wisconsin, Department of Administration for office space at CH Coakley Northpark Center. The space, located at N54W13900 Northpark Drive in Menomonee Falls, is 38,204-square-feet.
“The size of the Northpark Center facility really presented us a unique opportunity to expand our warehousing offerings along with other CH Coakley business solutions, such as 3PL and order fulfillment,” said CMK and CH Coakley President, Mike Coakley. “The entire building was completely leased within six months, including five tenants and two anchor tenants: Department of Workforce Development and the Milwaukee Sting Volleyball. To say this endeavor has surpassed our expectations is an understatement, and we are considering this model for our other warehouses and future acquisitions.”
In 2015, CH Coakley Northpark Center was purchased by CMK, an affiliated company of CH Coakley, from the Village of Menomonee Falls for $7.5 million. The 530,000-square-foot building with 155 loading docks, was the former Kohl’s distribution center and acquired in order to implement a hybrid leasing concept for the group that would include commercial office space, fulfillment, warehousing, and sports and entertainment. The company previously focused on warehousing to coincide with its commercial moving and document management business lines.
The DWD space is under construction and will include site improvements, office renovations and IT infrastructure. Completion is targeted for this fall.
